We try our best to look after those who really matter, our staff and the community.
Battle Hill Primary school
As a caring business we support many local projects including local fund raisers and charities. We also work with Battle Hill Primary school.
To help motivate the children Sidhu’s donated a full set of dashing new kits to Battle Hill Primary school in 2015 at a cost of over £300.
Our work with the school is on-going and we continue to make small donations from time to time.
In 2011 the School had a large group of visitors from France and Sidhu’s supplied the food at cost price to help the visitors sample the best fish and chips.
In 2012 the School had a group of visitors from Poland and Turkey. Sidhu’s supplied over 50 portions of fish and chips which were enjoyed by the children, staff and visitors!
RNIB is an organisation of blind and partially sighted people, passionately committed to ending the isolation of sight loss. They campaign and carry out research on the issues that matter to you.
We have been collecting on behalf of the RNIB for over a decade. They are one of our nominated charities, and do a world of work for blind and partially sighted people. About us Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost two million people with sight loss.
If you or a loved one has a sight problem, they can help. Not only with braille and the magic of Talking Books but with information and practical solutions to help you live with sight loss.
The Fisherman’s Mission
The Fishermen’s Mission fights poverty and despair in our fishing communities by providing emergency and welfare support to fishermen and their families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Over 13,000 men and women work in the UK’s toughest and most dangerous peacetime occupation: deep sea fishing. At sea, they face death and injury on a daily basis. On land, many face insecurity and debt. And life for the 50,000 retired fishermen and their dependants is no better, with debt, inadequate pensions and scant savings meaning no respite from hardship once the fishing’s over.
In 2011 we raised over £2150, For Local and National Causes. Help us beat this target and make 2012 Best Ever!
